When I moved into Michael Lannon’s house around 11 months ago, he told me not to worry about finding a job, that I needed time after everything that had happened to me to recover. That kind of made me think this was all work related, just taken too far.
Even months ago, when he told me $200,000 was taken from him and “locked up” he told me not to worry, we still had enough.
Today, I woke up in a good mood. I slept a decent amount and decided to go in the kitchen and surprise my partner with eggs for breakfast. To cook, I wanted to wash the pan I used last time to make eggs a few days ago. Immediately, Mike Lannon comes into the kitchen to tell me to stop washing that dish and use a clean one. I put the dirty one down, went to grab the clean one and he walked away. I decided that I like my eggs better when cooked in my skillet that we own. So, I sat the clean one back down and went to washing the pan, and 2 plates to eat off if.
Mike Lannon comes back in the kitchen and tells me I have to go get a tub and fill it with water because he doesn’t have enough money to pay the water bill. I told him, I will get a job and pay the water if that’s what it takes to wash the dishes. He tells me for the first time since I moved in with him, that is what I will have to do.
Recognizing he lured me away from my family into his house with promises of financial assistance, I immediately called out to my partner and told her we have to leave, we are getting kicked out. I stopped washing dishes and proceeded to pack up the bedroom with my partner. We packed up the car, went to the storage unit to drop some things off, went to Taco Bell to get some food, and now I am writing this post. Next will be calling 211, because I don’t know what else to do.
I’ve mentioned so many times that what is happening here is criminal, and the police seem to endorse it. There is something funky about the electrical in the house, and when I asked Mike for a blueprint of the house he looked like he saw a ghost.
Mike hasn’t let me pay a single one of my debts. Every time I ask for an amount large enough to make a payment on them, I get told to wait or hold off just a little while longer. We went to Best Buy 3 times to look at refrigerators and freezers with the intention to replace his every time, walking away with nothing. Over the past 6-8 months my spending has drastically decreased. The only things I spend money on now are essentials.
I am going to start calling his friends and letting them know what kind of situation he is in, because I offered to get a job months ago and take over the finances with my income and he refused.
