DevOps

Posted on September 4, 2025 by cbain

While working at my last job as a manufacturing software developer, I started learning and working with Azure DevOps. My goal was to have all of the source code for all of my projects in git hosted on the cloud.

I hooked the DevOps boards up to Microsoft Teams and started working on some really cool integrations.

I wanted to have a place for operators and supervisors to report bugs and ask for new features. Then my work could be tracked by everyone in the company that has permissions.

Unfortunately, there were some problems. One day I went to login to check the board, and I was blocked out. I ended up submitting a ticket to Microsoft and never got a reply. No one from my job helped with that, I got fired before anyone even offered assistance.
