I went to the doctors to have them checked and my doctor told me they looked just fine.
I didn’t quite believe it because it was a pain I’ve never felt before. It felt like there was a presence constantly in my ear. I bought a bebird from amazon and took these pictures from my left ear.
I reported it to the medical board, but I don’t have high hopes. I’m also personally concerned with what looks like dryness and almost scaly appearance of the soft tissue near my eardrum. My skin is not dry anywhere else, humidity in the house is comfortable.

Yeah, I know, clean my ears. I’m still getting comfortable putting something like that so deep into my ear and manipulating it. I’ll get there.
