The police in northeast Ohio needs to be known for using their discretion to let citizens harm one another under their watch.
Every time I’ve ever needed help, an officer has used discretion to cut the other side a break. Molest me as a child? Discretion. Threaten me to my face? Discretion. Steal my belongings? Discretion. Hack into my online accounts? Discretion.
If they are willing to use discretion to cut people who would harm me a break when I haven’t harmed a single person in the way I’m being harmed.
Today, if you have enough money, you can just buy people. Treat them however you want, make them blow up in public and have them taken care of by the state. The American Dream I was taught as a kid has been snuffed out. Hard work, dedication and being honest do not get you anywhere anymore. I’m glad I don’t have a kid right now. I would have ruined its life trying to make it anything like me.
I have a team of people claiming they are the smarts behind me. Not a single one of them has all the knowledge I have. I am the one who sat in front of a computer for my entire childhood trying to learn everything there was to know about it.
My good computer equipment is still locked in the storage unit because of men like Frank. I’ve been friends with Mike for over 8 years, and I’ve never not once heard of a Frank. The North Olmsted police department doesn’t consider Frank walking into the house and taking over Mike’s life a police issue. He was sleeping in Mike’s bed, reorganizing all his stuff as if he was going to be the one living there going forward.
Today, as I’m getting into the car to take my partner to work, Frank is outside with Mike cutting wood. Holding an axe in his hand, he calls out to me “Hey asshole!”. I ignore him, get into the car and leave.
