I’m worried. My partner came in to give me a hug yesterday and with my head on her chest something clicked.
I remember living at Redwood and giving her a hug in a similar way and her heart was racing. I asked her what was wrong while looking her in the eye and she said nothing. Her face was completely still; she wasn’t showing any emotion to match what I felt on her chest.
I let that go. Yesterday, when I felt her heart racing and looked at her face, my heart sank. I wanted to cry.
